Hilton presents Hotel Nikko San Francisco

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed our experience at the hotel. However, after reviewing the final bill in detail, I noticed that I had been charged for items from the minibar that I did not use. I’m not sure whether the items were already missing when we first entered the room or whether they were not properly restocked during housekeeping. In any case, I never consume anything from the minibar unless it is clearly marked as complimentary, so I was quite surprised to discover the charge after returning home. I believe this was simply an unfortunate mistake, but I hope the hotel can improve its minibar inventory checks and billing process to help prevent similar issues for future guests.

Very average stay. Service at check in was poor, my specific request for an early check in was ignored despite booking directly via their Preferred Rewards program. They said they would contact me when the room was ready, which they did not. The queen room is quite claustrophobic and very much set up for 1 guest. I very clearly booked for 2 adults and yet still had to call housekeeping to request an extra robe and slippers for my partner. The pool was OK but the sauna and steam room in the women’s locker room were not hot enough to be usable. Location is good and the lobby is very impressive with all the marble etc, but that’s the only thing ‘5 star’ about this hotel. They also added extra taxes onto the final bill which were not made clear at all when booking on their website. Overall I had a much better experience at a 3 star hotel up the street.

Все в отеле прекрасно. Расположение - нормально. Практически на центральной площади. Но с одной стороны отель прилегает к району Тендерлоин - не самый безопасный, потому ночью или вечером следует ходить другой дорогой. Весь персонал очень классный и дружелюбный. Снизила оценку из-за одной администратора блондинки - очень недовольной, и грубой. Мне должна была прийти посылка, и во всех документах - она доставлена. А она с каменным лицом ответила, что ничего не знает, и вообще за это нужно еще дополнительно платить. Но благо, что есть куча других адекватных сотрудников, которые нашли мою посылку и затем помогли все вещи погрузить в такси. Благодарю. И надеюсь с вами не произойдут похожие ситуации. Или просто избегайте блондинку на рецепшен.
