As what I would expect from Japanese sense of hospitality (omotenashi or おもてなし), I was thrilled by their attention to detail. Was here for my Doctorate Commencement Ceremony, the young fine gentleman Greg Robinson went the extra mile to congratulate me and facilitated my early check-in. On the second day, I went to the gym and a swim and missed my Breakfast Wellness Station. He went out of his way to help me get some protein bars, fruits and tetra packaged ionised water to perk up my day. I was thoroughly impressed by Greg and dare say he exemplifies the Japanese Ometenashi perfectly! I haven’t been to SF for 20 years. I hope the next time I come, I get to stay here again

Room is spacious. A lot of cafe for breakfast or brunch. John’s Grill around the corner.

Excellent hotel with good service and amenities. Amazing location near Union Square. Our preferred place to stay when in the city
