It's a nice centrally located hotel. But I really don't like they try to upsell you as soon as you try to check in even it was 11pm. We overheard another receptionist next to us was trying to upsell too to her guests. Most hotel do a free upgrade from a queen size bed to king size bed if it's 11pm and there is available. Your cost is totally the same, why not create another happy customer

ホテルの和食レストランANZUを利用しました。 サービスや内装、食材、雰囲気が素晴らしかった。 また、メニューにないカリフォルニアロールを作っていただき、ホスピタリティも極上。 ただ残念ながら、味は私に合いませんでした。 日本の味とと比較したわけでも、決してマズイという訳ではないのですが……。 こういう和食レストランはいつも、アメリカンな食べ物に胃腸が参ったタイミングで行って、例え現地の味でも感動するのですが、そういう感慨深さを感じなかった。 ニッコーの和食レストランということで期待し過ぎたのかも知れません

Das Nikko Hotel ist in Ordnung leider bekommt man jedoch für seine 200 € pro Nacht nicht besonders viel. Europäische Standards sind einfach höher als die amerikanischen vor allem in Hotels das muss man sich einfach eingestehen. Die Lage ist jedoch wunderbar direkt am Union Square, man kommt super schnell zur Market Street und ist im Zentrum von San Francisco. Leider hat San Francisco zur Zeit ein großes Obdachlosen und junkie Problem die man vor jedem Restaurant oder Kaffee zu sehen bekommt, wenn man zu Fuß in der Stadt unterwegs ist.
