We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Knikko in June of 2026. They are very centrally located in Union Square so it is very easy access to the Bart station, which made for great getting around for what we wanted to do. The staff was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The amenities were lovely and the rooms were beautiful. We ate once in their restaurant, and the Red Snapper fish and chips were delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

Housekeeping in this establisment is unreal. I've stayed in 20 hotels this year and I have never seen someone put so much thought into tidying up and organizing my room. And I'm a tidy individual. I was taken aback by the amount of consideration that went into it. Also, the rest of the staff are so genuinely kind when greeting me. The one gentleman in valet really stood out here but every staff member I've come across. Aces. Location. Brilliant. Walking distance from a plethora of activities and a short ride from so many more. My room was a little small but I did decline a larger upgrade. 10/10 hope to be back next year.

My friend and I got a resort day pass here and had a great time! The gym is modern and huge. We did a full workout, went in the spacious sauna, and then relaxed by the pool and did a little swimming. The pool is indoors and heated which is nice for SF’s often chilly weather.
