The 13th Annual US Half Marathon is Back in San Francisco

Kicking off at Muni Pier's historic Aquatic Park Waterfront, the US Half Marathon cruises through the Marina, Crissy Field, the Presidio and across the Golden Gate Bridge. Runners then return the way they came, crossing back over the bridge to finish where they started. The US Half Marathon is one of the top San Francisco sporting events, thanks to special features for families, a racing expo, and a fun festival at the end of the race that's free for everyone to attend. The schedule for the 2014 half marathon is as follows:

Saturday, November 1 at Herbst Pavilion in Fort Mason Center

  • 10AM-6PM: US Half Expo & Packet Pickup - Free samples and information from 50+ exhibitors showcasing the latest industry apparel and health products

Sunday, November 2 at Aquatic Park Waterfront

  • 7AM: Half Marathon Start - Race begins and ends on historic Muni Pier with sweeping views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge
  • 7:15AM: Family Funk Start - Spectators can tour the waterfront, receive a schwag bag and return to the finish line before the athletes arrive back
  • 8:10AM: Festival Begins - Music, food, beer and wine to celebrate the runners and celebrate the city's competitive spirit
