How much is the charge for Internet?
We are pleased to offer complimentary 756kb speed internet access in all of our guest rooms (up to three devices per room). Upgraded Premium high-speed (4 Mb/sec, HD streaming speed) wi-fi access (up to three devices) is available for $13.95/day, or $29.95 for three consecutive days. Many of our room types (i.e. Nikko, Imperial, and all suites) include complimentary Premium internet access, and all reservations made through http://www.hotelnikkosf.com website include complimentary Premium Internet access. Access provided and purchased in our guest rooms continues to be available throughout all of our public spaces.
Does the hotel have a pool and fitness center?
Hotel Nikko's newly renovated, heated 15-meter indoor pool is open from 6:00am to 10:00pm daily. Our large, modern and naturally lit health club features mahogany locker rooms and separate men's and women's dry saunas that are open 24 hours per day. Complimentary health club access is included with Suites and Imperial Floor guestrooms. All other guestrooms can utilize our Indoor Pool and 10,000 square foot health club for a one time $25.00 fee per room per stay. Massage services are available in-room or in our health club treatment rooms.
How much is parking at or around the hotel?
Valet parking is $15 per hour and for our overnight guests, valet is $65 per night plus tax with in and out privileges (and $75 per night plus tax for oversized vehicles). Otherwise, hourly parking rates apply. Diners at ANZU receive one or two hours validation for parking, please see the hostess. Our valet entrance is at 180 Ellis Street, just before Mason Street.
All of the hotel garages in the area have comparable rates; and there is a public 1,100-car Mason O'Farrell garage directly across the street.

How do I rent a vehicle from Black & White Rental Car

Does the room rate include breakfast?
Our standard rooms do not include breakfast. If breakfast is a priority, Imperial Floor rooms may suit your needs. These upgrades include daily, full hot breakfasts in the ANZU restaurant, as well as complimentary Internet. Both á la carte and buffet breakfasts in ANZU are available starting at 6:30 a.m. Buffet service is available until 10:30 a.m. while á la carte service is available until 11 a.m., Monday through Saturday. The price for the buffet breakfast is $30 per adult/senior plus tax and $15 per child (ages 5 to 12) plus tax. Every Sunday, ANZU is proud to offer additional brunch favorites from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Does the Hotel Nikko have an airport shuttle?

While the hotel does not have a direct airport Nikko shuttle, third-party shuttles or shared-ride vans are available from 4:30AM-11:00PM daily. If you are arriving in the Domestic Terminal the pick-up location will be on the Arrivals Level terminal curbside. If you are arriving in the International Terminal pick-up will be located on the Arrivals Level roadway center island. The cost to take a shuttle from SFO to Hotel Nikko ranges between $16 to $20 per person. 

Additionally, we are conveniently located two short blocks from BART (the Bay Area Rapid Transit) at the Powell Street station. BART trains leave directly from SFO and connect with OAK via shuttle. Please see http://bart.gov for schedules.

When can I check in to the hotel? Also, what time is check-out?
Check-in time at the hotel is 3 p.m., while check-out time is 11 am.  Early check-in / late check-out is allowed for a fee and subject to availability.  Early check-in is available upon request and based upon availability for a $30 fee, tax included.

Valid government-issued photo identification (state-issued ID, drivers license, passport, etc) and a valid credit card that matches the photo identification is required upon check-in for all guests.  Debit and credit cards will be charged at check-in for the amount of your stay, and authorized for $100 per day, up to $500 cover incidentals.  The authorization will hold the funds until check-out, at which time the amount incurred for incidentals will be charged.  The release of unused authorized amounts may take anywhere from two to thirty days by your financial institution.

If you are under the age of 18 and not traveling with an adult, Hotel Nikko San Francisco requires a parent or guardian of the minor, or another responsible adult, to assume, in writing, full liability for any and all proper charges and other obligations incurred by the minor for accommodations. We ask that you fill out the form below and present it to Front Desk upon your arrival.

Does the Hotel Nikko have smoking rooms?
The Hotel Nikko San Francisco is 100 percent smoke-free, so we do not have any smoking rooms.
How do I send a package to the hotel to be there on arrival?
If you have a reservation at the hotel, you can send packages to yourself prior to your arrival. When addressing these packages to yourself, please note on the package: "For guest arrival on _____" with your arrival date. Upon arrival at the hotel, your packages will be ready for you at our business center on the lobby level. Handling fees apply.
  • 1 - 10 lbs.: $6 per piece
  • 11 - 20 lbs.: $10 per piece
  • 21 - 40 lbs.: $25 per piece
  • 41 lbs. plus: Contact hotel for prices
  • For very large boxes, storage fees may apply
What are the business center hours?
The full-service business center is available to our guests seven days a week, 24 hours per day. An attendant is available to assist you Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. , Saturday: 10am-2pm.  On Sundays there is not an attendant available.  
Do your rooms have refrigerators for guests to store food?
All our rooms have in-room servi-bar refreshment centers that have a separate cold storage area for your personal items. Additional small refrigerators are available upon request at no charge.
Do you have a salon at your hotel?
We do have the Nicolas Studio hair salon at the hotel on the porte-cochére level. To make an appointment or for further information, please contact the salon directly at 415-928-6565 or visit www.nicolashair.com.
Is the hotel near Union Square?
Hotel Nikko is just a quick walk from Union Square in San Francisco. Head out the front doors and after a 5 minute stroll, you'll find yourself in this famous plaza. Union Square is surrounded by some of the city's top dining, shopping and entertainment.
Does the Hotel Nikko allow pets in the room?
The Hotel Nikko is a dog-friendly hotel in San Francisco, CA. All dogs that check in receive dog beds, bowls and treats! We also have a newly renovated outdoor Pet Terrace open 6am to 10pm for your convenience! There is a $50 fee per day per pet for dogs 50 pounds and under. If your pooch is over 50 pounds, we're happy to welcome them but the fee per night will be $200. There will be an additional one-time refundable cleaning deposit of $150 applied to all guests with pets upon check-in. We ask that you do not leave your dog unattended in your room.
Is there parking on site?
We have a "Stay and Park" special on our website - go directly to our website for all the details. Valet parking is $50 per night plus tax with in and out privileges (and $60 per night plus tax for oversized vehicles). Thanks!
Is there a shuttle to SFO?
We do not have a free shuttle but our concierge will be happy to arrange transportation for you! Call the hotel directly.
