Hotel Nikko San Francisco has re-opened following a $60 million renovation which saw the property shut down for three months while nearly 400 contractors worked daily to make improvements.
The re-imagined Hotel Nikko offers luxurious amenities, in-house entertainment, and white glove hospitality. The 532-room hotel, which includes 22 suites, is now home to gourmet Japanese x California dining at Restaurant Anzu, live performances Feinstein's cabaret nightclub, sumptuous cocktails in a hot pink motif at Kanpai, and a restorative dip and steam at Hotel Nikko's renovated wellness center, among other luxe amenities.
The property - one of 79 hotels worldwide operated by the Japanese based group, Okura - received upgrades throughout the rooms and lobby area, strengthening the synergy between the public and private guest spaces, such as the $250,000 sculptural element found in the lobby, which combines Japanese Calligraphy with the ribbon found on a traditional Japanese kimono garment. The Japanese-Inspired aesthetic is mirrored throughout the guest rooms: incorporating elements such as pleading into the headboards, traditional cherry blossom trees, and lanterns, with the goal of combining form and function.
The pet-friendly hotel also offers range of dog-centric services including a rooftop dog terrace, stylish complimentary doggie beds, and a special room service menu featuring delicacies designed to make your dog drool.
