Jed Holtman is a budding guitarist and composer in the San Francisco music scene. His stated goal is "to make music as weird as you look." He does not fear experimentation, going off the musical deep end, or sounding like a chainsaw on a chalkboard. In the end, he wants to have fun making good music. Jed has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with prominent Bay Area and Los Angeles musicians, including Danny Janklow, Nick Mancini, Howard Wiley, Doug Beavers, Gerald Clayton and Chase Jackson. Jed holds a high school diploma from Berkeley High School, and is a proud dropout of California State University, Northridge. He has studied with guitar machine-guns such as John Pisano, Mimi Fox, Graham Dechter and Chris Solberg. This concert will feature original compositions and more.
