Walk or Bike the Golden Gate BridgeNothing says San Francisco quite like this landmark attraction, which also happens to be one of the world's longest suspension bridges. Completed in 1937, the 4,200-foot-long, bright orange Golden Gate Bridge looks beautiful whether it's sunny, foggy or rainy. You'll be able to walk or ride your bike across it. Or, if you prefer, feel free to just admire the amazing views of the Bay, Alcatraz Island, and Downtown SF. What's more, you can gain an appreciation for the engineering and science that went into the bridge's construction by examining the interactive exhibits found outside Visitor Plaza.
