The 14th consecutive San Francisco Green Festival Expo will be at the Cow Palace, Nov. 13-15, 2015. San Francisco is a worldwide leader in recycling, reusing and reducing waste, and is the perfect venue for this exciting event. Exhibitors and vendors all have an important theme in common: to be responsible stewards of the planet for future generations by living in an eco-friendly manner. Marketplace exhibitors include producers of green products and services in everything from clothing to cleaning products to publishing. The schedule includes educational demonstrations and seminars by inspiring guest speakers like celebrity vegan chef Leslie Durso and award-winning filmmaker Philippe Carillo. A variety of topics will be covered in the panels and talks, like cultivating organic foods and reaching a zero-waste lifestyle. While there, participate in a yoga session and enjoy live musical entertainment by Charles Xaviar, aka the Xman.
Participants can rejoice, because for the first time, the Cow Palace venue is offering an exciting array of vegan and vegetarian menu options that are also sustainably sourced! Parking is available at the Cow Palace for $15. There's also a shuttle that runs from the Balboa BART station to the Cow Palace, and the cost is $2 each way. The San Francisco Green Festival Expo takes place in the Cow Palace South Hall, North Hall and Arena. Tickets are $15 for 1 day or $30 for a 3-day pass. Hours are 12-6PM, Friday; 10AM-6PM, Saturday; and 10AM-5PM, Sunday. For more information, visit the official San Francisco Green Festival Expo website.
